The all-new 2024 Chevy Corvette E-Ray is electrified for the first time with an e-AWD system that works in tandem with its LT2 V8 engine to give it the fastest 0 to 60 time ever. Designed for year-round performance, E-Ray and its electrified AWD capability are always up for a challenge, whether it's snow, rain, mud, or ice. This sophisticated supercar wasn't created to take on Mother Nature alone. With technology inspired by the C8.R race car, Le Man's prototypes, and standard carbon ceramic brakes, it's made to take on the most incredible cars in the world.
CORVETTE E-RAY LT2 V8 ENGINE
The 2024 Corvette E-Ray is propelled by a 6.2L small block powerhouse with 495 horsepower and 470 lb.-ft. of torque plus the 160 horsepower from the e-AWD. This engine is designed to thrill on every road and track drive. The E-Ray features eight equal-length intake runners of 210 mm to maximize torque and airflow. In addition, a dry-sump oil scavenge system uses three pumps to ensure oil quality and flow to critical areas during high g-force cornering and acceleration.
CORVETTE E-RAY 8-SPEED TRANSMISSION
The all-new Corvette E-Ray comes standard with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission that combines the smoothness of an automatic with the control of a manual, giving you high efficiency, lightning-quick shifts, and shorter lap times. In addition, a variable Drive Style Index senses your driver inputs and responds with gear holds and downshifts precisely when you expect them.
CORVETTE E-RAY BATTERY
A powerful 1.9 kWh lithium-ion battery electrifies this new Corvette for the first time, powering the electric drive unit that powers the front wheels. The E-Ray battery system includes an integrated power electronics system designed for maximum responsiveness, efficiency, and performance, supporting a 0.5-second improvement in 0-60. The E-Ray's battery self-charges by picking up energy as you go and letting you focus on the drive.
CORVETTE E-RAY ELECTRIC DRIVE UNIT
The all-new 2024 Chevy Corvette E-Ray's electric motor has 160 horsepower. The E-Rays LT2 V8 engine provides 470 lb.-ft. The electric motor adds an additional 125 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels. of torque to the front wheels. The electrified motor powers the front axle and the LT2 V8 engine for an impressive combined horsepower of 655. This adds up to a genuinely outstanding acceleration, whether off the line, exiting corners or during passing maneuvers. In addition, the system offers limited EV-only drive modes to allow you to move your car or exit your neighborhood in stealth mode.
CORVETTE E-RAY AWD
The Chevy Corvette E-Ray is the first Corvette ever to have AWD. The new e-AWD system elevates the mid-engine platform, taking the E-Ray to a whole new level. Not only does this bring a huge leap in 4-season capability, but the intelligent controls dynamically adjust in real-time to provide front axle assistance for ultimate stability and balance, providing nimble control.
