The Burlington Beginnings (1957)

Our story begins in 1957, when founders John and Elinor Lynch took a leap of faith and bought into Humphrey Chevrolet in Burlington, Wisconsin. As a dedicated husband-and-wife team, they built their reputation on honest deals, firm handshakes, and exceptional service. For decades, this Burlington location operated exclusively as a Chevrolet dealership, embedding the Lynch name into the fabric of the local community. Over time, that original flagship store evolved into the Lynch GM Superstore, expanding to offer Buick and GMC vehicles alongside their beloved Chevrolet lineup.

Expanding into Mukwonago (2011 – 2019)

After more than half a century of success in Burlington, the Lynch family recognized an opportunity to bring their signature customer service to new communities.

In 2011, Lynch made its first major move into Mukwonago by acquiring the former Horter Chevrolet. The community response was overwhelmingly positive, prompting further investment. Working closely with the village of Mukwonago to redevelop the local area, Lynch built a massive, state-of-the-art facility on Wolf Run in 2014. This expansion allowed us to house our Chevrolet inventory alongside a newly introduced lineup of Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram (CDJR) vehicles.

Our commitment to Mukwonago didn't stop there. In 2019, we expanded our footprint in the village once again by proudly opening Lynch Ford of Mukwonago, ensuring local drivers had access to America's most iconic truck and SUV brand.

Expanding the Family Tree: West Bend and Beyond

As our brand portfolio grew, so did our map. In August 2018, we established a standalone location in West Bend with the opening of Lynch Buick GMC. Today, our network spans across Burlington, Mukwonago, West Bend, and Kenosha.
