The Uconnect 5 with a segment-first front passenger screen, new high-definition rear-seat entertainment system, and Active Driving Assist are now available in the Grand Cherokee. This is the most advanced Uconnect system ever offered, With up to three 10.1-inch and two 10.25-inch digital displays in the cabin and an intuitive user experience. The Grand Cherokee will now provide a segment-exclusive front passenger screen that provides co-pilot assistance with navigation, camera viewing, and visual entertainment. In addition, the new full-color, 10-inch windshield Head-up Display allows the driver to stay in the know while keeping their eyes on the road ahead.

That legendary off-road capability begins courtesy of three 4x4 systems Jeep's Quadra-Trac I, Quadra-Trac II, and Quadra-Drive II with rear electronic limited-slip differential. Every 4x4 system on the Grand Cherokee comes equipped with an active transfer case for improved traction. The class-exclusive Jeep Quadra-Lift air suspension is now offered with electronic semi-active damping. The system will automatically adjust the shocks to changing road conditions. The class-leading Selec-Terrain traction management system allows drivers to choose the on- or off-road setting for optimum 4x4 performance. This system provides five terrain modes Auto, Sport, Rock, Snow, and Mud/Sand, all of which optimize calibrations for any given driving scenario.

The 2022 Grand Cherokee off offers buyers two outstanding engines. Jeep's legendary all-aluminum 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine is the standard option, rated at 293 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft. of torque. This engine is a seven-time Wards 10 Best Engines and Propulsion Systems award winner. The Pentastar comes with fuel-saving engine start-stop technology and is rated for a towing capacity of 6,200 pounds and an estimated class-leading driving range of more than 500 miles. For those looking for more power, there is the award-winning 5.7-liter V-8, rated at 357 horsepower and 390 lb.-ft. of torque. This engine offers cylinder deactivation technology, which turns off fuel and spark to four of the engine's cylinders when full power is not needed. The 5.7-liter V-8 has a class-leading towing capacity of up to 7,200 pounds.
