On the XL, XLT, and Lariat trims of the impressive Ranger, you will see a spectacular four-door SuperCrew body style and a solid five-foot bed. Front-wheel drive is standard, and you also get a rear-locking differential. and you will also have the option of four-wheel-drive, which also comes familiar with a rear-locking differential. All of these things contribute nicely to what is a one-of-a-kind driving experience. In addition, the new wheelbase comes with an extra two inches for some improved stability, and the shocks have been moved to the outside of the frame rails to enhance the quality of ride and control. The standard engine option is a 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder, which will get you a massive 270 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. This year's new lineup is a 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6, which doles out 315 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque and pairs with a ten-speed automatic transmission, giving you a smooth ride no matter where you travel. 

Tech and Interior Features for the Ranger

All trims of the Ranger come with a solid interior that you won't find on any other truck. All seats have a soft-touch surface and are incredibly comfortable, especially with the Lariat trim! The air conditioning controls are physical dials, and the shifter is incredibly sturdy. On the outside of the Ranger, you will see that the front end has been improved, and specific design cues have been taken from the Ford F-150 thanks to the C-shaped headlights and taillights. The 2024 Ranger also has distinctive front fascias on each trim, sharp-looking fender flairs, and some optional body-color wheel arches. Now that you know what the outside looks like, we must tell you about the tech! The 2024 Ranger comes standard with  Active Park Assist 2.0, which helps maneuver the truck into parallel and perpendicular parking spaces. The safety features help keep you and your loved ones safe, and the Ranger is packed to the brim with safety features such as forward collision warning, evasive steering assistance, traffic sign recognition, post-collision braking, and adaptive cruise control. Are you heading off-road? The Ranger has the option of a terrain management system with specific drive modes for sand and mud. Meanwhile, the Trail Control system will easily navigate all your off-road excursions! Other tech features include a forward-facing camera, an optional 12.4-inch instrument panel, and the option of a ten or 12-inch touchscreen that comes with standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. 

The New Raptor

It's official; the Raptor trim has made its way to the Ford Ranger, bringing an exciting mix of features! With the Raptor trim, you will see a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 that pumps out a delectable 405 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque while pairing with a solid ten-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. Several drive modes are available for the Raptor that allow it to go over everything and anything, and they include Normal, Tow/Haul, Sport, Slippery, Off-Road, Rock Crawl, and Baja. The turbocharged engine will keep spinning for three seconds once the driver takes their foot off of the accelerator in Baja mode so that you will be spooled up and ready for action. If you want to tow something for your Ranger, that's what it is made for, as it can haul 7,500 pounds with a payload capacity of 1,805 pounds.
