How much horsepower does the Ford Lightning have?

The all-new Ford F-150 Lightning may be gas-free but does not lack power! The first configuration is two 3-phase fixed-magnet AC electric motors with a standard-range battery with two motor options. This powertrain offers 426 horsepower and 775 lb-ft of torque with a 230-mile range. The second motor configuration is the extended-range battery option that delivers 563 horsepower and 775 lb-ft of torque with a maximum range from a full charge of 300 miles. Both motor configurations consist of two transverse-mounted fixed-magnet AC electric motors, one for each axle, creating an all-wheel-drive system as standard. You don’t have to worry about a towing capacity with the 2022 Lighting. The extended-range battery and max trailer tow package combine to pull 10,000 pounds. The standard-range battery and the same tow package can still pull a respectable 7,700 pounds.

What type of technology is in the 2022 Lightning?

The interior of the Lightning is just as stat-of-the-art as the powertrain. Ford created a wide array of advanced technologies that can help improve the performance of your truck and your business. Including over-the-air software updates, robust charging solutions, and FordPass Integration that not only allows remote access to your truck but will communicate with the Fords Connected Charge Station so you can watch your charging process. Ford’s SYNC 4A with the 15.5-inch portrait touchscreen and enhanced voice recognition offers impressive features, including voice access to your favorite apps, connected navigation, cloud-based connectivity, and more.

Will the Ford F-150 Lightning have BlueCruise?

BlueCruise is available on the 2022 Lightning. This system uses driver-facing cameras and radar-sensing technologies, allowing for hands-free driving on prequalified sections of divided highways. Ford calls these Hands-free Blue zones, and there are over 100,000 miles of Hands-free Blue zones in the United States.  Plus, you will never have to worry about loading or unloading in the dark, thanks to the enhanced zone lighting in the bed of the Lightning. There are 360 degrees of light inside and out. Plus, you can isolate different zones as needed and control all of them through your FordPass App.
